Ryan & Emily - HITCHED!

I'm going to be completely honest with everyone: This was my first wedding as the first shooter. I've taken pictures for the weddings of some of my other friends, but never as the primary photographer. And, I'm not going to lie, when Emily asked me to do her wedding, I said no a few times. Finally, I just faced my fears and said yes! Jeremy was in the wedding, so he wasn't able to shoot with me, but his mom came along with us and was my assistant for the day (thanks Tanga!). Aside from my mini meltdown the night before, this was a GREAT experience. It's always good to have the first wedding (really, the first of any kind of shoot) under your belt. It makes it easier to say yes to others that ask me to shoot their special day.

Ryan and Emily, I love you guys. I really, really do. I don't think I've ever cried so much at any wedding I've been to! Which made it really tough to see through the viewfinder :) Your love for each other is incredibly contagious and you fill the room with so much joy.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day!

Ritchie Family Mini Shoot

Oh, the Ritchies. I hate that California stole you away, but I love that you're living your calling. Thank you for dinner, for hanging out with us and for just being such amazing people. We love and miss you so much!

Olson Family Mini Shoot

Jeremy and I went to California this summer for a vacation, and to shoot Ryan & Emily's wedding. While we were down there, my brother-in-law (Lane), sister-in-law (Christina), and three nephews got together for a quick session to test out my new D300s. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Thanks guys!

(P.S. I have five nephews on the Olson side, one on the Deuman side...I LOVE my little boys!)
